I was there! The non Zappa program was excellent, very inspiring works. Impressive to say the least.
ReplyDeleteThe Zappa stuff sounded AMAZING ! They played Dog/Meat, Outrage at Valdez (which I missed), G Spot tornado, lumpy gravy and Peaches. I didn´t expect such a tight ensemble/orchestra (because we all know how little orchestras rehearse)
And guess what: They play the same program again in Nuremberg on October 11th (location: Tafelhalle). If I could, I would go see it again
